One of the Kemp's Ridley Sea turtles I got to see while at Padre Island National Seashore out in Texas. these little guys were just so wonderful to watch as they flapped out into the water. I wish it was longer there it was just so wonderful going out and watching these little guys.

Well I think I have to admit I am a bit overwhelmed by all of the :+fav:s I've been getting on this piece. I have to truely thank everyone for the outpouring of support for this piece. I am sorry if I cannot thank everyone personally but all of you have my heart felt gratitude for your support.

Sea turtle by ~UtteringAnathema There is something just really unique in this shot, that makes it special. Usually when one thinks of the APN gallery, they envision rolling landscapes, the crash of the waves on a beach, sunsets, etc. However many times we overlook that images within the APN gallery can also be documentary as well, such as the case with this photograph. It is certainly unique, not something you see everyday and it is also very well taken, too! (Featured by ^kkart)

Adorable turtle~! And you're still such an amazing photographer. This makes me think of something you could see in a nature magazine or something! Great work!

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
